An enormous blaze swept through a plastic recycling plant Ekochem in the town of Głogowo, near Toruń, tvp.info reported.
A hall where raw materials were store collapsed as the fire spread.
29 fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the blaze, which was put out after 2.5 hours.
A series of landfill fires were reported in Poland earlier this spring as a result of what officials said were deliberate arson attacks, started in order to destroy illegal waste brought into Poland from other countries.
It is unknown if the recent fire in Głogowo can be linked to these earlier blazes.
