Poland has a lot to offer Indonesia: expert

Małgorzata Bonikowska, the head of the Centre for International Relations, told Poland In that “Indonesia is not only important for Poland, it is generally very important country in the world.”

She stressed that looking in this direction can be beneficial for Poland. “It is very good that Poland looks at Asia,” the head of the Centre for International Relations said. “Asia is really a key point, also in political terms,” she added.

“Poland has a lot to offer Indonesia,’ Ms Bonikowska said, stressing that Poland tries to be present in the whole region of south-eastern Asia.

“In Asian mentality, the government support for business is absolutely crucial,” she said and this is why, in her opinion, the visit of the Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz in Indonesia is very important.

Visit of the minister

"Indonesia is one of the most important Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries and Poland's import, political and economic partner,” Mr Czaputowicz said during his visit to this country.

"We hope that the Indonesian market will open-up to Polish food products, including apples and meat products,” he added.
