Polish player Alicja Rosolska, along with Eri Hozumi of Japan, made it to the women doubles final of WTA tennis tournament in Sydney, Australia.
On Thursday, Rosolska and Hozumi defeated the double Andreja Klepač (Slovenia) and Maria Jose Martinez (Spain) 4:6, 6:2, 10:8.
In the tie-break of the last set, Polish-Japanese couple was losing 6:8, but winning four consecutive points allowed that to finish the match victorious.
Aleksandra Krunić of Serbia and Kateřina Siniaková of Czech Republic will be the rivals of the Rosolska and Hozumi.
The Polish player has eight doubles WTA victories on her account. However, she and Hozumi combined forces recently. Last week, they made it to the quarter-final of the tournament in Brisbane, Australia.
