This is the second time that IKO has beat the apps for other large banks as Morgan Chase, Barclays or Bank of America.

IKO received more than 300,000 opinions on both Google Play and the Apple app store. The average rating of the application of the Polish bank was 4.8 out of 5.

“The IKO application’s second such excellent global ranking shows that we are moving in the right direction. In developing IKO, we always strive to make it as simple to operate as possible, as this is what users value most today,” Zbigniew Jagiełło, the CEO of PKO BP, said.

“Our big challenge and goal is the bank’s further digitisation, including the creation of an ecosystem of services reaching beyond traditional financial services. Our innovative solutions like IKO or the National Cloud are excellent tools with which to achieve this,” Mr Jagiełło added.

Currently, more than 3.7 mln IKO apps are active. In Q4, more than 28 mln mobile transactions were conducted via this software.

IKO is co-developed by Braintri company.
