Rain to impede driving: highways authority

Following a brief three-day spring-y and sunny respite from the cold, winter-like conditions are back with the Polish highways authority (GDDKiA) saying that in the country’s 12 out of 16 provinces, driving will be impeded by rainfall, in addition to fog in the southern parts.

GDDKiA informed that all the national roads were passable.

Maximum temperatures would stay around 4C (39.2F) in the east, 9C (48.2F) in the west, and around 2C (35.6F) at the foothills in the south.

Moderate winds will sweep across the country with occasional gusts touching up to 80 km/h (49.7 mph).
