The Eurovision Junior contest will be held in Gliwice, southern Poland, it was announced on Wednesday.
The best young singers from all around Europe will be battling it out in the city in Upper Silesia. The final will be held on November 24.
Poland is hosting the competition after last year’s contest was won by Poland’s Roksana Węgiel.
This year’s event will be held at the Gliwice Arena, which seats about 17,000 people.
“The quality of the Arena and its availability was very important [for the decision],” said Jacek Kurski, the chairman of the TVP public broadcaster at a press conference on Wednesday.
TVP is the media patron of the event.
This is the first time Poland is hosting the Eurovision Junior competition and the first time since 2014 that the final is not held in the host country’s capital.
