Jakub Steuermark, the culinary expert, discussed in the interview with PolandIN the Polish food traditions concerning upcoming Easter.
The was not just about the traditional dishes served during the Easter meals, but also the traditional blessing of food, taking place on Holy Saturday in Polish churches.
“All Poles pay a lot of attention to tradition... It also reminds us of our home, our grandmas and our people sitting around the table and eating. It is just the time of being together,” Mr Steuermark said.
The traditional Polish Easter basket usually contains a few eggs, some bread, cold meat, salt, pepper and a figure of a small lamb.
