‘Poland: The Royal Tour’ premieres in Los Angeles

The premiere screening of “Poland: The Royal Tour” will take place in Los Angeles on Monday. In accordance with the format of the series, the film is hosted by Poland’s prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

The film was produced by an American journalist Peter Greenberg and the Polish National Foundation, for American TV station PBS. “The Royal Tour” series presents the history and culture of various nations, and is presented by the given country’s head of government or head of state. Previous editions of “The Royal Tour” have already been filmed in Israel, Mexico and Jordan.

“It is really a huge success that we were able to convince so many producers to film ‘The Royal Tour’ in Poland … The film is wonderful and we hope that viewers all over the world will get to know a Poland they have never known before,” said Filip Rdeński, the head of the Polish National Foundation.

After the premiere in Los Angeles, the film will go to Chicago and the Guggenheim Museum in New York and will be broadcast on PBS, an American network of 354 stations.
