China Post to release postcards depicting Poland’s attractions

As part of a cooperation memorandum signed by the Polish Chamber of Tourism (PIT) and Chinese postal operator China Post, the latter will release a series of postcards depicting unique tourist attractions in Poland, the chamber has announced.

The postcards will also include discounts, which Chinese tourists will be able to use while travelling around Poland, following the deal.

Around 200,000-300,000 postcards will be printed and distributed in post offices as well as through the China Post website.

According to PIT, such a campaign is also planned in Poland in the future.

The latest Polish Tourist Organization (POT) report states that Poland was visited by 18.3 million tourists in 2017.

A POT spokesperson said in October 2018 that the number of tourists from China witnessed the “highest” growth and that “in 2017, the number of Chinese tourists increased by nearly 55 percent,” to 130,000.
