The football FIFA U-20 World Cup begins in Poland on Thursday and will last until June 15.
Poland will play its first group game on Thursday evening against Colombia. It will then face Tahiti and Senegal.
There will be 24 teams participating, with the title defenders, England, failing to qualify for the tournament.
FIFA announced Poland as the hosts in March last year.
Matches will take place in the cities of Bielsko-Biała, Bydgoszcz, Gdynia, Łódź, Lublin and Tychy. The final will be played on June 15 in Łódź.
It will be the first time Poland hosts a FIFA tournament. However, the country has experience in organising a large-scale football event having co-organised UEFA EURO 2012 and hosted the UEFA European U-21 Championship two years ago.
