Demography and its influence on immigration to Europe: publicist

Referring to an opinion poll by Afrobarometer on the emigration intentions of Africans from 34 countries – of whom three percent have said they are making plans to emigrate – publicist Dr Grzegorz Lindenberg tells PolandIN that there will not be enough jobs in the changing economy to accommodate such numbers.

Mr Lindenberg’s controversial book, called “The next wave” – extrapolating data that by the year 2050, Africa will account for 25 percent of the world’s population, and makes grim predictions of the effects on Europe if people smuggling is allowed to go on unchecked – has created waves of its own, not least with Frontex, the Warsaw-based border control agency for Europe.
