Descendants of repatriates granted “Scholarship for Compatriot”

The state-owned oil company PKN Orlen awarded 44 “Scholarships for Compatriots” to Polish students who came to study in Poland from such countries as Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Moldova.

"Scholarship for Compatriot" is a unique project open to descendants of repatriates who decide to come to Poland to study. I believe that this financial support will make it easier for our scholars to achieve even greater success in selected fields of study and encourage them to stay in Poland,” said Daniel Obajtek, the CEO of PKN ORLEN.

Amounting to around EUR 200 per month, the scholarship is intended to help the youth while studying full-time. The programme began in 2018, and has been awarded to 53 students.
