‘Chopin and His Europe’ Festival starts in Warsaw

The 15th edition of the ‘Chopin and His Europe’ Festival started in Warsaw on Wednesday, gathering artists from all over the world who will introduce the audience to the music of the acclaimed Polish composer.

This year’s edition takes place under the slogan “From Chopin to Moniuszko”, and will feature 11 symphonies and nine chamber concerts, eight piano and two vocal recitals, as well as two concert operas and an organ music oratorio.

“Chopin and His Europe“ is an annual summer event, also featuring performances by finalists and other participants of the Chopin Competition.

The festival will last until the beginning of September.
