While there may be storm clouds ahead on global markets, the growth in the sale of services and sectors like game development suggest that trade between Poland and Germany will continue to grow healthily.
Germany is Poland’s largest export market and its largest importer. In both cases over a quarter of Poland’s trade is with Germany. At the same time, Poland has leapfrogged the Brexit Britain to become Germany’s sixth-largest importer.
Meanwhile, the expanding diaspora of Poles in Germany is setting up a business there and selling to Poland. There are now nearly 800,000 first generation Poles in Germany.
