Drones will be very important in medical services: official

The number of drones is rising and new legislation will lead to all drones being registered and tracked by 2023, Małgorzata Darowska, government's drone policy plenipotentiary tells PolandIN.

New legislation, based on EC directives aiming to further regulate the industry, will be introduced in July next year. Ms Darowska said that many useful tools for monitoring the airspace are already in place. A Polish developed software application called Drone Radar, now available in v2 can already help drone operators navigate the skies.

A key use of drones will be in transport for medical purposes. According to Ms Darowska, their use “will be accepted by society because we need them”.
