The reports say that representatives of both clubs have already met in Milan.
Forget everyone, I would just get Piatek, he has everything.
The situation of the Polish striker become complicated when famous Swedish player Zlatan Ibrahimović joined AC Milan.
Piatek reportedly stressed that he would like to stay in Milan, even if it would reduce his playing time. However, moving to Birmingham would be a chance for first-team football and a wage rise.
Some fans of “The Villans” are delighted by the possibility of the Polish marksman joining their club. “Piątek would be an unreal signing,” tweeted one of the users.
After 21 Premiership matches, Aston Villa lie in the 17th position in the league.
Among other clubs that expressed interest in Piątek are West Ham United and German side Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
This season, 24-year-old Krzysztof Piątek has been criticised for not scoring as many goals as last year. He netted only four times in 18 matches of Italian Serie A, compared to 30 goals scored in 42 matches in 2018/2019. However, his decline in form rather reflects the overall downturn in fortunes of the club.
