Netflix announces cast for the next “Witcher” season

Fans will once again meet their favourites. Henry Cavill invariably plays the role of Geralt. Anya Chalotra remains Yennefer, and Ciri - Freya Allan. We will also meet Joey Batey as the Dandelion.

The cast of the second season will be joined by Yasen Atour ("Young Wallander") as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, Paul Bullion (known from "Peaky Blinders") as Lambert, Thue Ersted Rasmussen ("Fast and Furious 9") as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross ("The Danish Girl") as Lydia, Kristofer Hivju ("Game of Thrones") as Nivellen and a rising star, Mecia Simson, as Francesca.

The rumours that Mark Hamill, known to fans as Luke Skywalker from "Star Wars", was supposed to play the role of mentor Geralt of Rivia, Vesemir, have not been confirmed. Stephen Surjik (episodes 1 and 2), Sarah O'Gorman (episodes 3 and 4), Ed Bazalgette (episodes 5 and 8) and Geeta V. Patel (episodes 6 and 4) will be responsible for directing the upcoming season.
