Prime minister praises scouts on World Thinking Day

“Scouting in our country since its inception has always been the carrier of the most important Polish values,” Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Facebook, wishing everyone involved in this movement that their lives would be "the path to build the great Polish Republic".

February 22 is World Thinking Day - a holiday of friendship celebrated every year by scouts around the world on the anniversary of the birth of the creator of scouting Robert Baden-Powell.

"Fraternal bonds raised from scouts' camps as well as patriotic feelings that write beautiful pages of history after years" - said the prime minister. PM Morawiecki added that he has the pleasure of working with many former scouts every day.

On the occasion of World Thinking Day there will be a special ceremony dedicated to Scouting organisations that will receive the patronage of the President Andrzej Duda.
