Compromise over EU budget may be impossible: commentator

The last EU summit which discussed the EU budget ended in a deadlock. Poland was an important player at that summit leading a group of 17 countries arguing for a more ambitious EU budget.

Mr Koziński told “PolandIN that fears are growing among EU leaders that a compromise over the EU budget may be impossible this time. The reason is that the member states are seeking to expand the agenda of the EU whilst simultaneously reducing its spending in real terms.
