“Move The World” will be the slogan of the next, 18th edition of the Junior Eurovision music competition, which will again be organised by TVP, the Polish public broadcaster.
“The events of recent months have shown us all the value of unity, kindness and cooperation,” Maciej Łopiński, the acting President of TVP, said.
“Big musical undertakings, such as the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, have a great value, because they bring optimism and hope. The slogan of this year's Junior Eurovision, ‘Move the world’, underlines the necessity of taking positive actions for the common good. One such action is the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. I am glad that Polish Television, after the success of last year's edition, was chosen again as the host and organiser of this incredible musical event,” he added.
“I could not be more excited to be working with the incredible team at TVP on my first Junior Eurovision Song Contest. They have the skills, creativity and enthusiasm to produce a fantastic show. It has never been more important to recognise the power of young people to ‘Move The World’ and I am looking forward to seeing all the talented singers perform later this year,” Martin Österdahl, the new EBU Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest and Junior Eurovision Song Contest said.
Poland won two previous editions of Junior Eurovision. In 2018, Roksana Węgiel was victorious with the song “Anyone I want to be,” while a year later, Viki Gabor won with “Superhero.”
