Sanatoriums to reopen in Poland from June 15

Sanatoriums will reopen on June 15, in accordance with the next stage of the defrosting of the country’s economy. Patients will be required to take a test for COVID-19 before departing.

Because of the coronavirus epidemic, people's stays at sanatorium across the country had to be cancelled. People waiting for their turn will be welcomed by sanatoriums according to the original waiting list.

Customers who were sent home and had their stays shortened will be accepted first, and subsequently those who had their stays planned for April and May.

The Health Ministry has stated that there will be no problem with spare places at sanatoriums as many have cancelled their reservations fearing an infection.

Six days prior to departure, patients will be required to get tested at a drive-thru testing site.
