Poland’s Health Ministry announced that 247 new COVID-19 infections have been confirmed on Monday morning, bringing the country’s total to 34,154 positive diagnoses.
The ministry also reported 6 new fatalities. As a result, the current death toll from COVID-19 adds up to 1,444.
According to the ministry, a total of 83,460 people are quarantined and 14,469 were placed under epidemiological surveillance, whilst 20,897 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far.
As of Monday morning, as many as 10,258,151 coronavirus cases, 504,613 deaths and 5,563,057 recoveries have been confirmed worldwide.
The US remains the country with the largest number of confirmed coronavirus cases, amounting to 2,637,077. Brazil comes second most with 1,345,254 cases and Russia third with 641,156.
