Poland’s Robert Kubica, who is a test driver of the Alfa Romeo Racing Orlen team took part in the first training session on the track in Spielberg, Austria before the Styrian GP.
“I am glad to be back in action this weekend, especially after such a long break which struck the whole motorsport. My task is, as usual, to gather as much data as possible for our engineers and support them with observations from the cockpit,” Kubica was quoted as saying in the official statement of his team.
The first training session commenced at 11am CEST, while the second is scheduled to start at 3pm. The third training and the qualifying session will take place on Saturday, while the race is scheduled for Sunday. This will be the first Styrian GP in history.
