Poland’s President featured in Trump campaign-ad

Polish President Andrzej Duda has been included in a new Trump campaign-ad published on twitter together with Queen Elizabeth, the presidents of France and Brazil as well as the Prime Ministers of India and Japan.

The campaign-ad comes ahead of President Trump’s attempt at re-election and consists of an excerpt from his inaugural speech in January 2017. Trump promised then, among other things, that the lead motif of his presidency would be the slogan "America First", announcing an economic revival and "renewal of old alliances and the formation of new ones".

In this context, photographs from some of Donald Trump's diplomatic meetings appear. In one of the sequences you can see President Trump and President Andrzej Duda walking under the White House colonnade. The spot also features, among others, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, British Queen Elizabeth, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuele Macron.

"We will unite the civilised world against radical Islamic extremism and eradicate it from this world." - announced President Trump.

The clip was published shortly after the end of the Democratic Party's election convention which officially nominated former Vice President Joe Biden as its candidate in the election scheduled for November 3rd.

Polish President Andrzej Duda has visited the White House for two bilateral state visits during President Trump’s first term in office while the US president visited Poland in one of his first state visits abroad after his inauguration in 2017.

While in Warsaw, President Trump also attended the second ever Three Seas Initiative Summit, a new political platform grouping together 12 states located in Central Eastern Europe with the ambition to strengthen the region’s infrastructural links as well as business connections.
