Located on Zamkowa (Castle) mountain near the town of Wleń in Lower Silesia, southwestern Poland, Castle Lenno, also known as Wleński Gródek, offers its visitors a breathtaking view on the Karkonosze mountain range.
The castle was built in the 12th century on the area of the former wood-ground stronghold. In the early 13th century it was often visited by Silesian Duke Henry the Bearded and his wife Jadwiga.
In 2018, after a major renovation, the castle was reopened for tourist purposes. Visitors can see the old walls of the stronghold and enjoy the panorama of the Karkonosze mountain range.
