The number of new job offers went down by 21.8 percent year on year and by 3.5 percent month on month in Poland in August 2020, Grant Thornton organisation has written in a report.
“In all, employers offered 238,200 new jobs,” according to Grant Thornton, an international organisation affiliating independent accounting and consulting companies that provide assurance, tax, and advisory services to privately held businesses, public interest entities, and public sector entities.
The authors of the report wrote that the number of job offers continued to fall in y/y terms for the second month running. “This is a signal that the labour market has ceased to rebuild its losses caused by the coronavirus pandemic,” the report reads.
According to Grant Thornton, employers are becoming more demanding regarding the candidate's work experience and education.
