Programmers developing online communication tools, e-commerce experts and game developers are in most demand among Polish employers, the Rzeczpospolita daily has said.
Rzeczpospolita said that programmers are one of the few occupations that have been little affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Despite the difficult economic situation, the average salary increase in this sector since March 2020 ranges from 5 to 10 percent.
Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for experts in specific fields has increased particularly strongly, including programmers developing online communication tools and e-commerce platforms, the daily said.
According to the newspaper, in the case of regular contracts, 60-70 percent of the offers proposed by job agencies or recruitment portals suggest salaries of around PLN 15,000 (EUR 3,247). Most of these proposals are for candidates with at least four or five years of experience and comprehensive knowledge of commercial solutions.
