Cloud Operator for Health will offer cloud-based electronic medical records (EDM) in the first place. This will enable the creation, authorisation and collection of individual and collective documentation while maintaining the highest security standards, as well as guaranteeing the availability and processing of data 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It will also provide efficient adjustment to legal regulations and will contribute to the standardisation of IT services in the healthcare sector.
“EDM will increase the availability and efficiency of the healthcare system in the cloud and will allow for cost optimisation,” Krzysztof Groyecki, deputy CEO of Asseco Poland said.
“Thanks to the use of solutions available in the cloud in the near future, it will be possible to diagnose patients faster,” Deputy Head of the National Cloud Dariusz Śliwowski added.
The National Cloud was established on the initiative of PKO Bank Polski and the Polish Development Fund (PFR) in February 2019. In addition to cloud services, it also provides consulting services related to the digital transformation process with the use of cloud computing. Asseco Poland has been operating for 30 years and is the largest Polish IT company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
