March sees most job offers online since COVID-19 pandemic started: report

Despite the restrictions introduced as a part of the March lockdown, the number of job offers published on the internet was the highest since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Rzeczpospolita” daily wrote.

According to the data provided by the Job Market Insights in March, nearly 285,000 job offers were published on the Polish Internet - almost 20 percent more than in February and 21 percent more year on year.

“March was the best month since the start of the pandemic. Almost all industries have recorded increases,” said Piotr Płusa, a labor market expert from the Adecco group which published the data.

The largest increase in the number of job offers was observed in construction and real estate sectors, where a seasonal recovery has already begun, as well as in logistics and transport.

The analyses by Job Market Insights showed that sales, HR and marketing specialists, as well as administrative employees had double-digit percent increases in offers compared to February.

The March revival in recruitment is also reflected in the data from, which was made available to “Rzeczpospolita.”

“In March, over 75,500 job offers, almost twice as many as the year before, were published on that portal,” the daily reported.
