The number of new job offers published online by Polish recruitment firms in June 2021 was higher than in the same month in 2020 and 2019, Rzeczpospolita, a Polish daily newspaper reported.
In all, employers offered nearly 323,300 new jobs in June 2021, according to the data of the Adecco employment agency collected from 15 largest recruitment portals and published by Rzeczpospolita newspaper on Tuesday.
“This is the highest number since the beginning of the pandemic, 28 percent more than in June 2020. It seems that the lifting of the lockdown has already caused a clear rebound on the labour market,” the daily wrote.
This year's June result was not only record-breaking during the pandemic, but even better than before its outbreak, the newspaper added.
“Last month, when unemployment decreased to 6 percent, job candidates had a choice of about 10 percent more offers on recruitment portals than in June 2019,” Rzeczpospolita wrote.
